Saito Koji, after a long absence, started releasing music again sometime before 2019, not sure when, but sadly he wiped his bandcamp of a lot of… well… over 400 songs… It’s sad to see it all disappear, so quickly, so fast, it’s just lost to time, maybe a few have it, but such an infinitisimal few.

I have a few songs from that era, I’m not sure why they’re gone, I’d almost like him to start making one bandcamp account per year, dumping it all there, leaving it there forever….. but for some reason, he sees something in impermanence of his own music that he likes, or maybe even dislikes. It’s possible he thinks it’s not worth keeping around, maybe he doesn’t want to overwhelm new fans, maybe he feels new stuff is a better representation of his work and his life, maybe he just doesn’t really think it’s that important to anyone… I don’t know. I can’t assume anything, at all…
