Rhythm at Home
There’s a rhythm in our home, and in everywhere we go, whether fast or whether slow, it will guide us where to go–suddenly I see a light wrapping in around me, from the deepest darkest sea, and cloudy days, we meet.
A heartfelt laugh, a noble tear will cast us off all of our fears, and a sunshine bellows when it’s clear, and home, it beckons us so near.
Love, it waits for you and I, in the ocean deep, the sky so high, the deepest joys in the light, the ocean calm and the darkest night.
Will I feel you, rhythmic, too? will I address you by your tune?
The rhythm of the snowfall, growing tall, smothers us in a foggy white, so I harbor you, your light. If the weight’s too much to bear, I will ease it, we will share your burden between us, so please stop a while for air…
I will guide us, our loves, to the truth inside, we will smother that lightlessness in light. Intwined, we seek the other out, through extrinsic fears, intrinsic doubts, we seek so long, yet no matter how, ‘cause faith in love is fast devout.
